Taj to open Palace wing this 26/11

(NULL)

IHCL is on track to open the Palace wing of its Taj Mahal Palace and Tower in Mumbai on 26/11 this year, the first anniversary of the terrorist attack on it and other Mumbai landmarks. Though it is unlikely to meet its stated aim of a complete reopening by that date.

“We know that that the management is looking to open the old wing (Palace) by 26/11 this year. But there is a lot of work left, so only some sections may be open. We have not been told which ones or how many rooms,” said a company spokesperson.

Taj has made the complete and accurate renovation of the 105 year old building, which also happens to be its first hotel, its rallying call. Some sections of the old hotel such as the lobby, shopping area some restaurants, are already open.
