Renaissance Putuo welcomes the global visitor

(NULL)

The Renaissance Putuo Hotel is now open in Shanghai for visitors from around the world.

The 330-room property features exquisite restaurants, meeting spaces and deluxe accommodations heavily inspired from the culture and lifestyle so typical of Shanghai.

The new upscale property also offers a 5,600 feet grand ballroom that can seat about 520 people along with high tech equipment with certified planners for event assistance.

It is just as striking on the inside. The interior design displays exceptional style and flare very distinctive of any Renaissance hotel. Inspired by the city’s maritime and trade traditions, wind motifs are used to depict currents and flow while contrasting décor such as Asian inspired wooden walls and modern art deco expressions are used in collaboration to articulate the complimentary coexistence of both Eastern and Western cultures in the city.

“All five of our Renaissance hotels in Shanghai offer unique and distinctive experiences, representative of the neighborhoods in which they are located,” said Tina Edmundson, senior vice president lifestyle brands.

THe hotel is located bang in the middle of the main commercial hub and includes local elements from design to cuisine.
