
With the current expansion to 75 properties, the hospitality group also proclaimed that it will be adding around 4,000-5,000 people to its workforce in India. At present, Accor has a portfolio of 50 hotels in India, with more than 9,000 employees across all their properties.
In terms of brand Raffles, the hospitality group will be employing around 400-500 workforce for 101 rooms and suites in Udaipur and 55 suites in Jaipur. Besides, the portfolio of Raffles will also be doubled in the next few years.
The hospitality group is also planning to expand its luxury and lifestyle brands in the country and at the same time majority of its expansion will be with its mid-scale and economy brands like Novotel and ibis. This apart, it is also looking for right partners in order to bring in more brands including Banyan Tree, Mama Shelter, Delano, Mondrian, and Tribe among a few in next 2-4 years.
