Blue Iris hotels announced the signing with Kanishka International, to operate 2 boutique hotels in Bijapur, North Karnataka. With both hotels getting a facelift, the promoters are confident that this would give the hotel scenario a boost in the city.
Located on the station road, the properties will be not more than 500 meters away from the Gol Gumbaz, the largest unsupported dome in India, 1 km from the railway station and 3 kms away from the main bus stand. The hotels are both within walking distance of each other and will be branded as Blue Iris Boutique and Blue Iris Bliss, respectively. The Boutique is scheduled to open on the 15th October, and the Bliss will open a month later.
The hotels would feature 50 rooms between them, a vegetarian restaurant and a banquet hall with a seating capacity of around 50 people. Speaking on the venture, Russell Gregory, Brand Custodian for Blue Iris mentioned, “With this tie up, we are strengthening our footprint in Northern Karnataka and this would help cross sell our hotels better. We see a lot of potential in the agri, pharma and banking segments for this hotel. We are very eager to see how this tie up is works in the long run”
