Tourism Minister Satpal Maharaj informed that a grand event of Tehri Lake Festival -2021 will be held in Koti Colony, Tehri on February 16 and 17.
Tourism Minister Satpal Maharaj further added that the two-day Tehri Mahotsava is being organized with an aim provide philip to the economic activities in the region and provide a unique recognition to Tehri for adventure tourism activities.
Tourism Secretary Dilip Jawalkar said that “The state government is constantly making efforts to revive tourism after the Covid epidemic. I am confident that we will again take Uttarakhand tourism to a new level. We hope the Tehri Lake Festival will further boost the inflow of tourism in the region. “
Poonam Chand, Nodal Officer of Tehri Festival informed that various types of adventure activities has been organized for tourists at Tehri Lake Festival like Boating, Jetski, Banana Ride, Surfing, Kayaking, Canoeing, Scuba Diving in Water Sports, Mountain Terrain Biking, ATV Bike, Archery, Paragliding in Aero Sports, Paramotor, Hot Air Balloon etc. under the direction of the Adventure Wing of Uttarakhand Tourism Development Council.
Special committees have been formed by Eva Srivastava District Magistrate Tehri to make Tehri Lake a success.
