After some hitches and hiccups, the 436-room Trident, Bandra Kurla, Mumbai, has finally opened.
The hotel has contemporary interiors, and is equipped with the latest technology. Although the Trident is fully set to welcome guests, the formal inauguration will now only be on December 20, keeping in mind the chief minister’s commitments. It was originally planned for December 17.
“This is probably the first time in hoteliering history that a hotel is opening as fully functional with all rooms and restaurants operational from day one, there has been no soft launch,” says a visibly proud and excited Visheshwar Raj Singh, general manager, Trident, Bandra Kurla.
