JW Marriott Hotels & Resorts expanded its luxury portfolio with the opening of its eighth hotel in India, the JW Marriott Hotel Kolkata. The first hotel in Kolkata and East India by Marriott International, the property comprises 281 spacious rooms, five studios for meetings and conference facilities, and amongst the largest ballrooms in the city, in addition to 38,370 square feet of indoor and outdoor event spaces. It has an in-built video wall measuring 32 feet x 18 feet and comprising 64 LED panels.

The hotel includes a range of premium F&B and entertainment options, including JW Kitchen, an all-day restaurant featuring residential-style kitchens, which prepares made to-order dishes with four interactive cooking stations. Vintage Asia is a fine dining restaurant serving authentic Thai and Chinese dishes. JW Lounge, a casual meeting space, is the venue of choice for freshly baked items and afternoon tea or crafted cocktails and a premium wine and spirits selection in the evening. Gold, a chic nightclub, offers refined opulence.
The Roof Top Lounge on the 24th floor takes dining to new heights with views overlooking the surrounding lush greenery. For European flavours, the Tuscan Grill specializes in Italian dishes and Mediterranean delicacies.
