Guests to Grand Hyatt Mumbai can experience Indonesia’s diverse cuisine with Chef Teuku Syafrulsyah at the Indonesian Food festival that is beingheld at Fifty Five East. They can savour some sensational delicacies from the country known as the Emerald of the Equator. The spread will be prepared by Chef Teuku who will is visiting the hotel from 4th to 10th May, 2017.
Born in Jakarta, the Chef is excited to create an amalgamation of wondrous fresh vegetables, soft flavoured breads together with some exotic spices and his favourite delicacies. The typical Indonesian meal is based on rice, with several savoury side dishes of vegetable, fish or meat or poultry, accompanied by chilli-hot condiment or sambal, with peanuts, crackers (krupuk) or fried shallots to provide a crunchy contrast.
Diners at Fifty Five East can explore a culinary array like Laksa Jakarta, Soto Madura, Satay Campur, Tahu Sumbat, Ayam Goreng, Rendang Daging, Gulai Parsanga, Ikan Dabu-Dabu, Sambal Udang, Tahu Kalas, Pepes Jamur, Nasi Goreng, Klaper, Onde-Onde, etc. These Indonesian delights can be enjoyed at INR 1650 plus taxes for lunch and INR 1900 plus taxes for dinner.
