Zhang Xue Shi has been appointed as Chinese Chef de Cuisine at the Cantonese kitchen at K3, the all-day dining restaurant at JW Marriott New Delhi Aerocity. Fondly known as Chef Oliver, he comes with around 17 years of experience in handling kitchen operations and management.
After training at the Cooking School of Changping District, Xue Shi began his career with Beijing’s Yidu Hotel in 2000 and a year later moved on to Chuanbo Zhonggong Hotel. In 2002, he joined ‘Made in China’ restaurant at Grand Hyatt, Beijing. Nine years later, he joined Hyatt Regency Chennai in 2011, as the second in command of the Chinese restaurant
