Vineet Verma, Director, Brigade Hospitality, gives his take on what will rule the hospitality scene in 2024:

“The Indian hospitality industry is expected to grow at a steady pace in 2024 where we will see the hospitality sector evolve and personalized services will experience high demand. A dedicated focus on sustainability, wellness, and health-oriented services will not only enhance guest experiences but also foster loyalty.
“Data analysis and research will bring hyper-personalization through innovation and immersive guest engagement. We will witness the adoption of new SOPs like mobile check-ins and guest data usage for more unique experiences. We will also witness a rise in sustainability initiatives and eco-friendly practices, the adoption of renewable energy, smart energy management, chatbots, virtual reality and the list goes on. Leveraging advanced technologies like AI (Artificial Intelligence), AR (Augmented Reality) and VR (Virtual Reality) will enhance guest experiences.
“We will also see unique trends like ticketed destination weddings for foreign travellers picking up in 2024. All these factors are supported by the healthy economic progress of the country. Demand is expected to grow, and hotels will continue to witness growth in both occupancies and ADR. In line with India’s vibrant culture, hospitality establishments will strive to seamlessly blend tradition with modernity, creating unforgettable experiences for guests.”
