Ever since its launch in 2008, Hotelier India has been a champion of the country’s hospitality sector. In line with our endeavour to support this industry, we constantly introduce unique properties that highlight dynamic leaders and companies as well as share their insights, which can benefit their peers. The ‘GM Summit’ is one such example. During these regional forums, Hotel Owners, Operators, Area Heads, General Managers and key decision-makers from various hotels congregate for a half-day interactive discussion. During the course of these sessions, they share their experiences, opinions and recommendations on highly pertinent topics that have a direct bearing on the hospitality business.
Adding to this distinguished property, we introduce the ‘Hotelier India ESG Excellence Awards’, an awards event that will celebrate the successes of ESG activities of hotels. This will be India’s pioneering platform to recognise ESG excellence in hospitality.
Sustainability is a crucial and pressing issue in hospitality today. And ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) provides standards that companies can measure and benchmark themselves.
The Hotelier India ESG Excellence Awards will celebrate hotels actively striving to address and implement ESG practices in their organisations, and will travel region to region along with the GM Summit.
The Awards will have a special judging panel comprising ESG leaders across industries, and entries will be judged across a range of criteria. While winners will be announced on the same day as the GM Summit, a special panel discussion with Hotel GMs on raging ESG topics will be the other highlight of the day.
The Hotelier India GM Summit & ESG Excellence is a forum for exchange of hospitality insights and knowledge, and a celebration of ESG in hospitality, wherein we bring to you an evening filled with enlightening sessions and wonderful victories.
The Hotelier India ESG Excellence Awards will make its debut this year along with the Hotelier India GM Summit (Western Region) 2024 on March 28, 2024, at JW Marriott Mumbai Sahar.
