Sanjay Sethi is the Managing Director and CEO of Chalet Hotels Limited, which owns several marque hotel and resort assets in Mumbai, Pune, Hyderabad, Bengaluru and Lonavala, comprising over 2,800 keys. The company is rapidly expanding with new projects in hospitality and real estate.
Prior to joining Chalet, Sanjay founded Keys Hotels & Resorts in 2006. He had a 14-year tenure with the Taj Group of Hotels and briefly served as the Chief Operating Officer for the Hotels Division at ITC Limited. In February 2018, he returned to Chalet Hotels and led the company to go public in February 2019.
As an industry stalwart, he brings more than three decades of extensive experience in providing strategic vision and leadership across various segments in the hospitality industry.
Recognized as a thought leader in the hospitality industry, Sethi is an active member and speaker at key industry bodies and events. He serves as an Executive Committee Member of the Hotel Association of India (HAI) and holds a special invitation to the Executive Committee of the Hotel and Restaurant Association of Western India (HRAWI). He is also an Executive Committee member of the National Tourism Committee of CII and the real estate committee of FICCI.
