Mumbai’s first Yellow Chilli opened today. This is the 11th outlet for the national chain which is a joint venture between celebrity chef Sanjeev Kapoor and Citymax Hospitality, part of Dubai’s Landmark Group.
The chain is predominately North India centric, with Hyderabad, the first Southern outlet scheduled to open soon. The Mumbai outlet is at the Hiranandani Business Park in Powai.
Yellow Chilli is a casual dining concept serving North West Frontier cuisine with exotic picks from Punjab and the Mughal Era. The inaugural offering is a lunch buffet for Rs249 AI on weekdays and Rs299 AI on weekends.
Citymax’s other Indian F&B venture is the Gloria Jean coffee franchise of which 4 of 25 are launched.
