The HRAWI has confirmed its 2009 AGM for the 24th of this month in Mumbai. The venue is The Club in Andheri, managed by former HRAWI and FHRAI president, Dinesh Khanna.

SP Jain, incumbent HRAWI president and chairman of the Pride Hotels group is expected to step down since it is the practice mandated by the bylaws amended two years ago.
