Make yourself at home

(NULL)

The Club Suite at The Paul in Bangalore, is spacious and well appointed, almost a home away from home, feels Bindu Gopal Rao.

Think of a hotel room, and the first image that comes to mind is that of a standard sized room with an attached bath.

Mostly restricted in terms of area even in the best of hotels, you are obviously in for a treat when you hear of a room that is actually 1250square feet. Coming from the same group that owns the multi award winner, the Kumarakom Lake Resort, the Club Suite at The Paul Bangalore is larger than most standard two-bedroom apartments.

The reference to Kerala architecture can be seen in several spaces including the balcony roof. “This space was envisioned with a view to provide plush luxury to the weary corporate traveler once he gets back from work.

In any case when the guest is paying us for the space, we felt the need to make it large and home-like,” explains Asa Abraham, Corporate Manager, PR & Communications.

Done up in hues of beige, brown, and olive green, there is a quality to this space that immediately endears itself to you, and quite easily meets its objective of making you feel at home.

On opening the door, you enter into a hall on either side of which are two large bedrooms. The hall leads seamlessly into another living space with a full-fledged bar.

There are four balconies; one each in the bedrooms, another in the hall, and the last in the living area. The latter is.furnished by a four-seater dining table, sofa set and centre table.

The living area has a powder room adjacent to it, and each bedroom comes with an attached bath. Italian marble and solid teak wood flooring has been used for the rooms, and single slabs of Italian marble have been used for the bathrooms.

Every nook and corner of the Club Suite is designed and styled with careful consideration to ensure the guest’s comfort during their stay. The tariff ranges from Rs. 18,000 for the use of one bedroom, to Rs. 21,000 for the use of both rooms, per day.
