Shree Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA) will open its fourth hotel, Shree Purushottam Bhakta Niwas, in Puri in November.
The temple body is building this accommodation facility to provide affordable accommodation to devotees visiting the city to pray to Lord Jagannath.
SJTA currently has three hotels – Nilachal Bhakta Niwas, Shree Gundicha Bhakta Niwas and Niladri Bhakta Niwas – in Puri. The latest property will come up at Jail Road, which is around 2km’s distance from the temple complex.
According to the SJTA, the three-storied hotel will have air-conditioned 138 rooms at reasonable tariffs. Of these 120 rooms will be have double occupancy, while the remainder will have triple occupancy facilities.
The property will have power back-up, fire safety measures, lifts, parking lots and rest rooms for drivers. Located close to a multi-level car parking complex, it will also serve vegetarian food.
