Hilton enters 2023 poised for robust growth in Asia Pacific

With 600 hotels currently in operation and over 7,000 properties worldwide, Hilton is ready to soar

Some of Hilton’s major growth highlights in 2022 have been the opening of Hilton’s largest hotel in Asia Pacific, the 1,080-room Hilton Singapore Orchard; the debut of Hilton’s flagship brand in the Maldives, with Hilton Maldives Amingiri Resort & Spa; the debut of upscale focused service brand, Hilton Garden Inn, in Japan with Hilton Garden Inn Kyoto Shijo Karasuma; the celebration of DoubleTree by Hilton’s 50th hotel in Greater China & Mongolia, with DoubleTree by Hilton Kunming Airport.

The year 2022 saw the steady growth of Hilton’s luxury portfolio in Asia Pacific, with more than 10 landmark luxury signings. These included the entry of the iconic Waldorf Astoria brand into Australia, Malaysia and Vietnam, and the expansion of the Conrad brand with the signing of three new properties in China’s major travel destinations of Xi’an, Chengdu and Nanjing.
