Authentic Japanese and Pan-Asian cuisine restaurant Taki Taki in Mumbai Turns 1

The restaurant celebrated its first anniversary with an all-new tasting menu, carefully curated by Chef Amit Shetty

Situated at Lodha World Crest, Taki Taki by V&RO Hospitality celebrated a week-long ‘1st Anniversary’ recently. 

As a part of the celebration, the brand launched a new lunch menu experience called ‘Taste of Taki Taki’, a four-course tasting menu that was paired with signature cocktails. The menu curated and helmed by Chef Amit Shetty consisted of an array of Japanese and pan-Asian dishes, that boasts and offered something for everyone – from salads to sushi, dim sum to mains, and staples to desserts.

The menu offered a wide selection of salads and soups like Thai Glass Noodle Salad, Tom Kha Soup, Miso Soup etc. The signature sushi included Tempura Asparagus Roll, Taki Taki Maki Roll, and dim sum like Green Vegetable & Cheese, Chicken Gyoza, Prawn Petit and more. Mains included classics like Mapo Tofu, Massaman Curry, and Chicken in Thai Basil to name a few, and were paired with Edamame Fried Rice, Yaki Udon Noodles or Steamed Jasmine Rice.

The sweet-toothed ended their meal with Buche De Noe’l, soaked fruits, toffee Swiss roll, and chocolate ganache and Stick & Stone, coconut pandan, mango basil, mascarpone cream on a bed of cinnamon dust.
