“The Hotelier India awards are a truly revered industry recognition platform. The energy and enthusiasm at the event this year was absolutely livewire and contagious. The celebratory mood felt very welcome after the pandemic hiatus!” expresses Bidikar, who has a career spanning over 15 years with several roles in operations and revenue management across a multitude of highly competitive markets such as Mumbai, Delhi, Gurgaon, Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad.

Recognised for domain expertise in revenue management, distribution, e-commerce & commercial strategy, some of Bidikar’s contributions in the past year have been leading the flagship hotel of IHCL (The Taj Mahal Palace, Mumbai) and maintaining business leadership for the IHCL portfolio in Mumbai throughout the challenging circumstances of the pandemic; spearheading business recovery strategies and tactics for Mumbai as the industry emerged out of the pandemic; setting up an elaborate Regional Reservations Office in Mumbai to enhance efficiencies in an extremely resource crunched scenario; and nurturing and optimising talent deployment by way of personal mentorship, which minimised attrition in a domain that usually has a very high churn rate.
