Azure Hospitality established in 2009, is a creative food company imagined by young people to make urban neighborhoods more attractive. Co-founded by hyper-focused food and hospitality entrepreneurs Kabir Suri and Rahul Khanna, Azure Hospitality has an array of brands under its banner. The brands have been hand-made to offer a mix of carefully curated food and beverage experiences accessible to all kinds of folks. Currently Azure Hospitality houses Mamagoto, Dhaba Estd 1986 Delhi, Sly Granny, Sly Granny Café, Foxtrot, Oki Poki, The Outpost and Tereza Beach House.
Up until September 2022, Azure Hospitality expanded their operations from just metrocities to over 10 cities rapidly with over 51 outlets. Further an additional 20 units are in the pipeline, which brings the total count to 71 units and they aim to have these running by FY 23. Overall the company plans to scale and expand to 157 outlets across 16 cities by FY 2025.
The most loved brands by the audience under Azure Hospitality are Mamagoto and Dhaba Estd. 1986 Delhi, and there are plans to expand these restaurants and open new units for them in metropolitan cities and tier 1 cities.
If we compare the Pre Covid and the Post Covid CAGR of the brand, post the pandemic the brand hopes to make a recovery and see a growth in the CAGR. The company’s revenue was 115 CR in FY 22. Pre Covid the company’s CAGR was 22% for FY 16 – FY20 and post covid company’s CAGR would be 60 % (FY21-FY23). The brand is optimistic and is looking for fundraising of USD 20 MN to fuel its growth plans.
