Amid COVID-19 crisis, DoubleTree by Hilton Pune Chinchwad is not just ensuring to fulfil their responsibility towards guests and community by extending necessary help and support, but are also sensitive regarding the safety and well-being of their staff members.
The lockdown restrictions coupled with fear and anxiety about one’s well-being and that of the family has not been easy on anyone. In a bid to assure that these challenging times don’t take any toll on the mental and physical well-being of their employees, as they resume work, DoubleTree by Hilton Pune Chinchwad have undertaken a slew of initiatives to help them navigate through the new-normal changes.
The hotel has initiated the return of their team members in stages and has also begun counselling sessions as a part of the onboarding experience post lockdown. They are handholding the process of making them familiar with the changed set up, protocols and procedures in the light of physical distancing and sanitisation requirements.
“Our people have always been at the heart of whatever we do. Our HR team has ensured to keep in touch with each team member during the lockdown. We have also ensured to keep them aware of the developments and new changes introduced in protocols through video conferencing and individual calls. These steps have helped us in adjusting to things that affect them individually, such as the use of common areas, use of PPEs, changes in cleaning schedules, food and beverage service and implementation of Hilton Cleanstay initiatives,” the hotel spokesperson informed.
On the property front, “there were soft refurbishments done in the lobby and restaurant spaces, in a bid to greet the guests with a refreshed look. However, the hotel has kept the welcoming experience intact, which still includes the warm smile, albeit behind the mask, and the warm cookie. In short, our team is ready, physically, clinically and mentally to ensure that the guests continue to enjoy the DoubleTree by Hilton experience,” the spokesperson added.
