Located in Bandra, Mumbai, D & A Realty Café is a private café and lounge for the client to host his business associates and hold meetings. With plush and luxe interiors, this 900 sq. ft café designed by Minnie Bhatt Design comprises contemporary design elements.
The road facing-façade has louvres made of brass with fluted glass placed at an angle that gives a peek into the outdoor area of the lounge. As one enters this lush café, the space has segregated into two parts- a 700 sq. ft indoor and 200 sq. ft outdoor area.
Outdoor aura
The outdoor area has abundant indoor greens that add to the refreshing vibe of the space. The highlight here is the tree in the centre with seating around it. A bespoke bench on the right is made with bent brass sheets and stone. The flooring is a pre-cast terrazzo slab guiding the visitors indoors.
Indoor enclosure
Inside the lounge, a column stands tall in the middle, Cladded in faux brass sheet. Walking to the right, one can view a library made of PU-coated metal shelves inserted in a wall panel along with two chair seating. Beyond the library, a personalized patterned mirror adds dimension to the space.
D & A Realty Café is a private café and lounge for the client. It is designed to have plush and luxe interiors with contemporary design elements. Hence materials like Italian marble and brass are used to give a finished and refined feel to the interiors. The space features an eclectic collection of rich materials and bespoke furniture that makes it feel refreshing, vibrant and lavish.

Lights from White Teak company hang over the dining table. Unique customization of sculptures has been visible throughout the café. Against the central brass column, there is a console table made of black Italian marble. A hidden door leads to the restroom. The walls are PU painted with some adorned silk wallpapers. All the furniture indoors is custom-made using Italian marble, brass and semi-precious stone like Malachite.
The eclectic collection of rich materials and magnificent furniture makes this private café and lounge feel homely and vibrant.
