Cherise launches IoT-enabled tea vending kiosks

Cherise India has launched a range of IoT and Android-based vending machines that can dispense a range of teas, coffees, soups and milk, under its home brand.

The vending kiosks have a proprietary Cherise IoT dashboard and app for monitoring the operations. This provides customers access to realtime data on consumer consumption patterns, inventory and billing.

Cherise was founded by Parimal Shah, a third generation tea sommelier.  Talking about the kiosk, he said, “Consumers today have high expectations when it comes to health and hygiene and carefully read the ingredients used to create an F&B formulation. They prefer product from natural ingredients, which is what Cherise delivers. We manufacture these vending machines, which ha our proprietary vending technology, as well as beverages and formulations at our own plants after extensive research on the ingredients.” These formulations include Mumbai Masala Chai, Delhi Adhrak Chai, Calcutta Elaichi Chai, Nagpuri Nimbu Chai, Bikaneri Elaichi Doodh, Gujrati Haldi Doodh and Madras Coffee, which is dispensed through the smart vending machines.

Cherise is associated with the MK Jokai Group of Companies, which is Shah’s family business owned by his father, Kalpesh. MK Jokai owns tea plantations in West Bengal and Assam and is a leading producer of Assam tea.
