ITC Maratha launches a three day ’75th Azadi ke Amrit Mohotsav’

With Palghar tribal art collective by Samta foundation and special culinary showcase inspired from Pathare Prabhu community

On the occasion of 75th Independence Day ‘Azadi ka Amrit Mohatsav’ in a grand celebration, ITC Maratha has joined hands with Samta Foundation to host three (3) days Open House for cultural and art collective from Palghar tribal artisans. The pop-up will be one of it’s kind to celebrate the Palghar community known for their flair for Warli art, bamboo and paper mache artwork. During the three day art collective artistan from Palghar will be curating live demonstrations and workshop at the venue for guests to witness the intricacies of these creation and learn more about the indigenous tribal lifestyle making it a wholesome immersive experience.

The three days 75th Independence Day celebration will be carried in full fervor across the hotel with some really unique offerings such as culinary showcase inspired from colourful and indigenous community of Pathare Prabhu at Peshwa Pavilion. The community is known for it’s Marathi- Gujarati cuisine style, famous for one of a kind meat iterations in regular meals, seafood specialties, heirloom recipes and spices and more. The hotel will also showcase special music performances for the guests on 14th and 15th August 2022.
