Palate of Delhi (POD), a food complex that provides casual and easy dining options, has opened at Delhi’s Dhaula Kuan Metro station. It will target commuters travelling along the packed Delhi-Gurgaon route as well as to South Campus college students looking for a clean, quick, pocket friendly meal post-classes.
Conceptualised by Jaideep Bhandari, POD will host Delhi NCR’s first ever Burger King drive-thru to make it convenient for people who are always on-the-go and need to grab a bite. He said, “We are excited to bring this food destination with some of popular brands. We aim to provide a comfortable quick-dining setting to our discerning customers.”
POD will opened its doors to the 1100th outlet of Dominos pizzeria and will also include well-known outlets like Khan Chacha, which has been serving rolls that generations of Delhiites; Keventers, which has been fuelling a milkshake fascination; Moti Mahal Delux, the eponymous curry house and Haldiram’s, Delhiites’ go-to for all savoury and sweet cravings. Other hang-outs will comprise American donut company Dunkin Donuts, Chicago Pizza pizza parlour, Baskin Robbins ice cream parlour, etc.
