Ummrao hosts a wine odyssey dinner with Fratelli Vineyards J’NOON

This is an Awadh food feast and wine pairing dinner at Courtyard by Marriott, Mumbai

In this wine odyssey dinner hosted by Ummrao they offer red, white, and sparkling wines.

Ummrao, the fine dine restaurant at Courtyard by Marriott, Mumbai, hosted a wine odyssey dinner on along with Fratelli Vineyards J’NOON. This is a premium wine that offers red, white, and sparkling wines.

The evening started with the pleasing, Shatavar Ka Shorba (Asparagua soup) that tastes like spring and has a creamy texture and it was paired with NOI Rose that hits the sweet spot in terms of fruitiness, freshness and light texture.

The appetizer, Jaituni Tawa Murgh was perfectly paired with the JCB Sparkling Brut, a dry wine that pairs beautifully with Indian cuisine. This was followed by the main course that consisted of unique Awadh flavors such as Jhinga Aam Curry (Lobster cooked in raw mango curry, served with taftaan) and Indian Burrah Halim (New Zealand lamb chops, halim served with Kurkuri Bhindi) which was blended by pairing it with FRATELLI VINEYARDS J`NOON WHITE.

This was followed by Kareli Doodhi biryani where a portion of each biryani was paired with J`NOON RED to enhance the flavors. The last dish consisted of Mishtaan -E- Ummrao which is a Chef special desert a lingering taste to your taste buds.
