The Ascott rolls out new normal initiatives at its serviced residences

The Ascott has rolled out various initiatives at its serviced residences as they adapt to business modules in the post-COVID era.

As part of this endeavour, Somerset Greenways Chennai and Citadines OMR Chennai are offering flexible work environments with seamless services for corporate guests to work remotely. Suitable for an individual or a small team, Ascott’s business-support packages can be used for day-use only or for short or long stays.

Guests can enjoy their home-office space with customised workstations with an ensuite kitchenette and services including in-room dining options, complimentary hot beverages like tea and coffee, high speed WiFi access and office-support services.

In addition to this, Ascott in India recently launched ‘Sheen – Fabric Care’, its minimum-contact, professional fabric care services. Patrons can now have their laundry, dry-cleaning and pressing requirements taken care of by Ascott’s in-house laundry unit.

Guests can drop off their laundry at Citadines OMR Chennai or Somerset Greenways Chennai and their laundry will be processed and ready for pick-up within 48 hours. They can also make payment via an online link, to reduce contact and allow safe distancing. Guests who have over 20 pieces in a single order and within 5 KM from either property, are eligible for complimentary pick-up and delivery of their orders.

Commenting on the development, Vincent Miccolis, Ascott’s Regional General Manager for Middle East, Africa, Turkey and India said: “To further support our guests and patrons, we are continuously creating uninterrupted services at our properties, which remain operational to provide a safe ‘home away from home’ for our guests, including returning nationals, and those affected by border closures”.
