For the first time in its 61 year old history, the Hotel and Restaurant Association Western India (HRAWI) have decided to organize an exhibition – Hospitality Food and Tourism India (HFTI), the president of HRAWI, Kamlesh Barot said. The three-day exhibition will be held at Nehru centre, Worli between September 29 and October 1, 2011.
Despite there being several hospitality exhibitions organized by various agencies, what makes this a unique effort is the fact that the largest hospitality association- HRAWI is making an attempt to bring all the affiliated members, vendors and service providers under one roof.
Moreover another first with HFTI is that it is also aligning other associate industries who have been working with the hospitality industry for a long time, but never found any representation at any of these trade shows held earlier.
The primary focus of the HFTI is to provide a platform for networking, launching an idea or a product, signing up new business as well as learning what is available and what others are offering and using. With an available space for around 120-150 stalls of various shapes and sizes, HRAWI is expecting a participation of more than 100 exhibitors in the first year itself.
