The Imperial New Delhi celebrates International Women’s Day 2022 by offering a tribute to women who stood up for their rights, empowered others and showed immense strength and passion. Mrs Satbir Kaur Sandhu, Head Interiors, Heritage and Estate of the hotel has created a hand-crafted installation in the lobby for #BreakTheBias. The veteran has been associated with the property for almost 4 decades and designed this installation to pay an ode to the global theme for this year’s International Women’s Day.

Vijay Wanchoo, Sr. Exec. Vice President & General Manager, The Imperial, New Delhi stated that the hotel salutes the indelible spirit of women and takes pride in all the lady associates who are also the backbone of The Imperial Experience. He said “Women are truly spectacular and have been nurturing this world since the evolution of mankind. Today, their inspirational journeys to the top of the ladder in all spheres are a true awakening. It’s now time to #BreakTheBias, honour their contribution and be grateful for their existence as they surmount personal and professional challenges.”

He further said, “As a hotel, we offer equal opportunities to women across all levels. Women play a vital role in any organization and always add a special touch in many ways. They should always be looked after well and should be hired in key roles without any gender bias. Even at The Imperial, we have women almost in each of our departments and we are thankful for their support in making this hotel, one of the top luxury hotels in Asia. Women’s Day 2022 celebrations are a small token of gratitude to all the ladies at The Imperial from the entire Imperial family”.
