Nikita Chopra receives Marketing Manager of the Year Award

Considering the dramatic shift in consumer behaviour following COVID-19, Nikita Chopra, Head–PR and Marketing at The Lodhi New Delhi revamped the hotel’s marketing strategies to rebuild guest confidence. She played a key role in developing the ‘Stay Safe Assurance’ programme with enhanced safety standards across the property and re-invented the brand standards in the light of this crisis.

While the hotel traditionally received a lots business from inbound international travellers and corporate clientele in the past, there was little to no revenue from these segments, “We leveraged our unique offerings through our marketing strategies to target domestic
travellers looking for quality experiences closer to home,” Chopra stated. “Thereby, 85% of our revenue contribution came in from domestic leisure business.” The F&B portfolio was overhauled to cater to this segment.

“We strengthened the hotel’s offerings by launching two new restaurants and a bar, a new events venue and revamping the hotel’s all-day dining outlet and came up with various imaginative dining concepts,” she elaborated.
