Rhinox introduces VV press fittings for plumbing

A special profile with extra safety function and double-edge security helps hoteliers easily switch from plastic pipes to steel pipes

Rhinox introduces VV press fittings for plumbing

US-based stainless steel pipes and press fittings manufacturer, Rhinox, has introduced the VV stainless steel press fittings, which can make the plumbing process more hassle-free. In addition to saving time and money during project implementation, it can also enhance job safety and accuracy.

The triple press fittings consist of a double O- ring with VV shaped grooves and 5 stage pressing. This special profile offers an extra safety function with a double edge. If by any chance the fitting is un-pressed, the sealing ring with a lump allows the outflow of water drop and indicates unpressed location. Rhinox has introduced these features to help institutional customers, including hotels, to quickly transition from plastic pipes to steel pipes.

Growing awareness of the downsides of plastic and PVC plumbing is prompting many hotel companies to opt for stainless steel plumbing. At the same time, strong connections between pipes are essential for the success for these assignments in a cost- and time-effective manner.

Earlier, the connection of pipes was entirely dependent on brazing, soldering, and welding. This led to additional cost, time, investment and manpower. Rhinox hopes to resolve this issue with the VV stainless steel press fittings.

The benefits of the special profile VV Press Fittings include high level of durability, high level of hygiene, less requirement of maintenance and cost savings. It also promises double anti-pulling force tensile strength, double sealing insurance, minimal damage from water hammering, strong shock resistance especially accommodated for seismic events, strong rotation resistance, long insertion depth  and weight that is approximately 80% higher. In addition to this, once the pressing is done the design ensures zero damage from cold and hot changes.

Rhinox claimed that these pipes are manufactured using finest grade 316 L surgical stainless steel. The pipes and press fittings are tested in Europe & America and are known for lead-free testing, NSF drinking water testing and high-pressure testing.
