Café Reed, the multi-cuisine café by The Quorum Mumbai, is now open all day from 8am to 12am. Located on the 8th floor of One World Center, Lower Parel, Café Reed is a concept space where guests can eat, shop, socialize, experience, and discover. It offers guests a bite-sized taste of The Quorum Club, the private member’s club that it is an extension of. Café Reed is open to all guests via a separate entrance for public access.
Designed to offer guests much more than just a dining experience, Café Reed will feature a revolving rotation of retailers, wellness pop-ups, and workshops. Being the country’s first homegrown private member’s club itself, The Quorum lays great emphasis on supporting other homegrown brands through its event programming, retail offerings, and more. The café is characterized by a library of curated books by CMYK (available for sale), botanical wallpaper featuring a warm terracotta facade with bustling foliage in clay pots, and a plethora of retail options.
The Food & Beverage program is led by Chef Pranay Kumar Singh & Chef Avisek. The culinary selections at Café Reed will take guests on a gastronomic journey across a wide range of cuisines from Pan Asian and Italian, to Mediterranean and Indian. A focus on organic, sustainable cuisine ensures the freshest, highest-quality innovative dining experience for guests, all through the day.
Early birds can enjoy a wide variety of Breakfast favourites, served from 8 am to 12 pm, daily. These include Healthy Bowls like the Peanut Butter & Banana Smoothie Bowl; and Sugar-Free Vegan Coconut Pudding; All-Time Favourites like Quinoa Pancake with Granny Smith Apple, cinnamon, and maple syrup; and Finger Brioche French Toast; and a range of Eggs to Order, accompanied by Sides like Smoked Breakfast Ham; Streaky Bacon; andHydroponic Mixed Leaf Salad. Diners can also opt for Sandwiches & Wraps like Wilted Spinach & Wild Mushroom Toast, and Smoked Salmon Bagel with spiced avocado. Indian breakfast dishes like Mumbai Special Misal Pav; and North Indian Stuffed Tawa Paratha are perfect for those who want a more local flavour for breakfast.
An all-day, a la carte menu ensures that there is something for every diner, across lunch, dinner, brunch, and anything in between. Guests can keep it light with Salads & Appetizers like Yellowfin Tuna Tartare; Pearl Barley & Asian Pear Salad; and Baked Brie. A selection of Soups, Sandwiches & Burgers follows. Flatbread and Pastas offer indulgent choices like Baked Macaroni & Cheese with White Truffle Oil; and Butter Chicken, Onion and Mozzarella Flatbread. Main courses like Belgian Pork Belly with Rotkohl and warm, spiced apple jam; and Grilled Prawns with Sourdough Croute are accompanied by a variety of Sides. Those in the mood for Pan-Asian fare will enjoy Starters & Salads like Asian Chili Garlic Shrimp; and Asian Vegetables & Avocado Salad. Dim sum lovers can order Truffle Oil-Scented Mushroom & Edamame Dim Sum; and Prawn & Water Chestnut Dim Sum, amongst others. Main Courses like Stir-Fried Prawns in XO Sauce; and Chiang Mai-Style Red or Green Curry offer comforting, familiar flavours, accompanied by Rice & Noodles. No multi-cuisine menu is complete without Indian fare and Café Reed doesn’t disappoint! Diners can try a range of starters like tikkas and kebabs; followed by Mains like Sarson ka Saag; Moilee (vegetable/fish/prawn); and Lamb Pepper Fry, all accompanied by a selection of rice, breads, and dal. A Dessert menu complete with both Indian and Western options, as well as cocktails like Aperol Spritz, sangrias, martinis and more with a low ABV (alcohol by volume) are the perfect accompaniment to any meal.
As a design-led experiential space, The Quorum believes that art serves as a source of creative inspiration to ignite the imagination. The Artery Exhibit across the club is a collaboration between The Quorum & Artery India. The works displayed at Café Reed are shot by leading contemporary photographer Rohit Chawla and are available for sale.
In addition, The Quorum has partnered with Subko Specialty Coffee Roasters to elevate their coffee program across the Club, available at Café Reed too. There is also a pop-up Gimlet Trolley at Café Reed courtesy Stranger & Sons offering a range of eclectic cocktails. Guests can also purchase healthy offerings from home-grown brands like Green Protein, Nourish Organics and Brawny Bear, retailing at the Café.
