The Claridges hosts Chef’s duck tasting menu at Jade

The Claridges’ flagship hotel in New Delhi is bringing a journey at the heart of Asia through a Chef’s Duck Tasting Menu at Jade, its fine dining Chinese restaurant. The menu is an amalgamation of Chinese and Thai cuisine as two of its expert chefs fight for culinary supremacy preparing the duck dishes. Every course presents a flavorful dish comprising the duck.

The 7-course menu has been curated by Chef Bir Singh and Chef Chetan Raj. In its first course Chef’s Duck Tasting Menu presents Crispy duck mousse followed by Crystal, Bao and Pot Sticker Dimsums prepared by Chef Bir Singh in authentic Chinese style.

Chef Chetan Raj showcases the third course of the meal that is Thai styled- Duck tom kha – which is Duck bone and meat simmered with Thai herbs and vegetables, fragrant coconut broth. The fourth course features the Duck Salad comprising Pulled duck meat, iceberg lettuce, scallion, mint, basil with Thai chili dressing by Chef Chetan.

The star dishes of the meal are Crispy aromatic duck roll by Chef Bir Singh followed by Duck leg massaman curry by Chef Chetan. The last course of the delectable dinner presents Coconut Sago pearl  to conclude the meal with balanced sweetness.

Chef Bir Singh stays true to Jade’s culinary tradition and showcases his dishes in authentic Chinese style while Chef Chetan brings in his expertise with Thai cuisine duck dishes.

The menu will be available from 20th to 30th September, every evening priced at INR 2400, plus tax per guest.
