TripAdvisor today announced the appointment of Deepesh Saxena as the new territory manager for the India business team. He will be based in New Delhi and will be responsible for building brand awareness and engaging hoteliers across the region.
Lewis Ng, commercial director for TripAdvisor for Business said, “Deepesh is well known in the Indian hotel industry and his experience and insights will be instrumental in developing a successful strategy for the India region.”
Saxena comes to TripAdvisor from Yatra.com where he was national head of sales. His experience is primarily in negotiating and contracting and has previously worked for companies such as isango!, WNS Global, IGTS and ebookers.
“This is an exciting time for the Indian market, following on from the launch of the International Business Listings product. I look forward to engaging with region’s hoteliers and to building long lasting relationships with hospitality businesses throughout India,” said Saxena.
