Mixologist Gaurav Dhyani to lead South markets for Stranger & Sons

After stints at standalone establishments to star chains, Gaurav Dhyani is ready to stir up South markets for Stranger & Sons. He will channel his inherent curiosity for Indian customs and contemporary techniques to establish the brand in the industry circles of southern India.

“I’m excited to wield the unique flavours of South India to curate cocktails with my personal touch and I hope to build a massive ‘strange’ community soon!” said Dhyani. Born in Uttarakhand, Dhyani’s passion for bartending and mixology stems from his exposure to food and spirit cultures across the world gathered during his travels. His approach to bartending adds a fresh flamboyance to classics, and his zeal to incorporate an Indian touch into their flavour makes him a standout.

He has been adding accolades to his name with his adept skills, which combine local ingredients and modern mixology techniques. His skills have earned him international recognition through a number of awards, including:

Stranger & Sons hit the Bangalore market in January 2021 and will be launching very soon in Telangana and Puducherry this year. The brand claims to hold 55% market share in the Indian premium gin segment in Karnataka currently and is available in 300+ outlets across the state.
