With the opening of four new hotels across the globe, Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide’s Four Points by Sheraton brand has topped a milestone 150 hotels.
New hotels in Niagara Falls, Ontario (391 rooms), Quail Springs, OK (119 rooms), and the Chinese cities of Taicang (449 rooms) and Lianyungang (254 rooms), mean that Four Points now operates more than 150 properties in 24 countries.
Four Points Niagara Falls-Fallsview is a conversion, while the other three properties are new builds.
Four Points’ momentum will continue throughout 2010 as the rapidly growing brand continues to debut in business and travel hubs outside the U.S. this year.
Four Points is slated to debut in the key African market of Lagos, Nigeria this month and the brand will open another China property in Tai’An this October.
Later in the year, the brand will expand into Libya and Thailand making the Four Points brand accessible in 28 countries around the world.
