IHG set to open new hotel in Colombia

The InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) is set to expand its presence in South America.

The company will manage the newly built InterContinental hotel in Cartagena, Colombia that is scheduled to open in early 2013.

The 280-room property will be located in the city’s Bocagrande district.

The hotel will have a casino, retail outlets and restaurants and will provide facilities including a spa, fitness centre and meeting rooms.
