1. The Institute of Hotel Management, Catering Technology and Applied Nutrition , Mumbai
Generally known as IHM Mumbai, the institute is situated in Dadar, Mumbai. Started in 1954 this was the first of its kind institute in India.

The Institute of Hotel Management, Aurangabad, was started in 1989. It is a joint venture between Maulana Azad Educational Trust (MAET) and the Taj Group of Hotels. The institute is a member of Leading Hotel Schools of the World (LHSW).
The close relationship between Institute of Hotel Management Aurangabad and Taj Group of Hotels provides an opportunity for the students to apply their theoretical knowledge in practice.

3. Welcomgroup Graduate School of Hotel Administration, Manipal
Manipal established its college for Hotel Management Studies in October 1986 as a unit of Dr. TMA Pai Foundation. In August 1987, the foundation joined hands with Welcomgroup, the hotel division of ITC Ltd, and a progressive hotel chain having linkage to Starwood Company of USA. WGSHA’s training and development activities are recognised by the International Hotel Association, Paris. In July 2003, it became a constituent college of Manipal University.
4. Institute of Hotel Management Catering Technology and Applied Nutrition, Chennai
The Institute of Hotel Management Catering Technology and Applied Nutrition, Chennai was established in 1963 jointly sponsored by the Government of Tamil Nadu and the Govt. of India for imparting quality training in three year diploma course in Hotel Management and Catering Technology.
Over the last 43 years, Institute of Hotel Management, Chennai has provided high quality courses in Hotel & Catering and has excellent links with the industry.
5. Institute of Hotel Management Catering Technology & Applied Nutrition, Hyderabad
The Institute was established in 1972 as Food Craft Institute, as a registered society, under the State Technical Education Department, Sponsored by Govt. of India and Govt. of Andhra Pradesh. It was upgraded into the Institute of Hotel Management, in 1984 and in 1986 affiliated to the fold of National Council for Hotel Management, Catering Technology, New Delhi, an autonomous body set up by the Ministry of Tourism & Culture, Govt. of India.
The Institute offers value based quality education of International Standards to produce well-groomed graduates for employment in hotel, tourism and services management positions at a national as well as global level.
6. The Institute of Hotel Management (IHM), Gwalior
This institute came into existence in the year 1992 and became an affiliate of National council of Hotel Management and Catering Technology, under the Ministry of Tourism. The institute provides the right environment to the aspiring hoteliers.
It offers a promising career in the hospitality industry by providing a 3 year degree in Hotel Management as well as some other short term courses. Students from the institute have been working in some of the best hotels, fast food chains and call-centers in India and abroad.
