UK hotel chain bans vuvuzelas

British hotel chain Premier Inn has banned the use of vuvuzelas.

The decision was made after a manager was kept awake by England fans blowing the plastic horns.

The ban was levied after the fans were blowing the horns in the Newcastle Central hotel during the England and Algeria match. Fans were also caught blowing their vuvuzelas at the Premier Inn near Heathrow airport.

According to the hotel spokesperson, the ban would last until the end of the World Cup but would be extended if the problem persisted.
