At 43-square metres, they offer guests the fitness option within the privacy and convenience of their room. These particular rooms feature either a treadmill or stationary bike, yoga mat, stability ball, jump rope, adjustable dumbbells and other equipment to meet the needs of any fitness regime.
The perfect way to round off the strenuous exercise is to step out onto the spacious balcony for a refreshing cuppa tea or whatever your poison may be.
Further, Westin has partnered with SuperFoods Partners, to become the first hotel brand to create a health-focussed menu for guests. Thus, the SuperFoods breakfast offers an enhancing menu rich in antioxidants and phytonutrients. The guest chooses ten items from a selected list of ingredients, which the chef then turns into an appetising healthy dish.
The other point that’s been making the waves about Westin is its Heavenly Bed concept. The chain has partnered with Simmons to create the single most recognised product that the brand offers to its guests. The bed features a custom-designed Beautyrest Pocketed Coil mattress, which Westin claims ensures the most rejuvenating sleep possible by providing total body support and reducing motion transfer so sleep is not disturbed by any movement.
The bed consists of a custom-designed pillowtop mattress set with 900-individual coils. There are three sheets ranging in thread count from 180-250, a down blanket with three versions for different climates, a comforter, duvet, five pillows including two king-sized 50/50 goose down/goose feather pillows; two queen-sized Comferel pillows by Dupont; and a decorative boudoir pillow.
