New Blackberry application for channel management

(NULL)

RTSuite, RateTiger’s channel management product is now available for the Blackberry to give hoteliers the ability to manage rates and availability when they are on the go and perhaps don’t have access to a computer. The Blackberry application has been developed as a complimentary addition to the iPhone App launched early in 2010.

The RTSuite Blackberry App is available free of charge to RateTiger customers. The goal is allow hoteliers to use their their mobile handsets into an intelligent channel management tool. Although eRevMax’s web-based tools can already be used on smartphones, the company said in a statement that it does not believe that websites designed for PC browsers are optimal on those devices. The new application will therefore provide an access point optimized and tailored for Blackberry usage.

“Blackberry has always been a smart business phone, so developing an app tailored for it was a logical step for us. We believe this business tool will help our hoteliers to further improve channel management efficiencies,” said eRevMax RTSuite division president Keith Povah adding, “Hoteliers are looking for ways to keep their rates dynamic and optimize revenue at the very last minute. They can now update multiple online booking websites with the ultimate mobile channel manager.”
