Alliance Hotels plan major expansion in India

New Delhi-based mid-market hotel marketing company, Alliance Hotels & Resorts Ltd is eyeing hotels in North East India and Lakshadweep for expansion.

The company recently tied up with Chennai-based MGM Group of Hotels to manage six new properties in Tamil Nadu and Karnataka.

The six properties are MGM Beach Resort, Mutthukaddu; MGM Hi Way Resort, Ranipet; MGM East Woods Resort at East Coast Road; MGM Vailankanni Residency and MGM Hill Worth Resorts, Coonoor in Tamil Nadu and Tranquil Orchards in Bengaluru.

Alliance Hotels & Resorts provide technical and operational support to the hotels. The company has 32 properties across 22 locations, predominantly in South India including Kerala, Tamil Nadu and Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
