It was a dazzling evening at the Westin Gurgaon where the top brass of the hospitality industry gathered to celebrate the Hotelier India Awards 2010. One of the highest honours bestowed during the ceremony was the Lifetime Achievement Award, which was won by none other than the legendary hotelier PRS Oberoi for his outstanding contribution to not only Indian Hospitality, but global hospitality as well.
PRS Oberoi, the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of EIH Limited, the flagship company of The Oberoi Group, is responsible for creating a generation of hoteliers who have carried forward a tradition of hospitality that India is proud of. He has been the leader for the management of luxury hotels in several countries in addition to pioneering the development of the new Oberoi hotels and resorts.
Collecting the award on his behalf was his nephew Arjun Oberoi, Joint Managing Director of EIH, who said, “This is a fantastic event and I am truly honoured to be here to pick up the Lifetime Achievement Award on behalf of Mr PRS Oberoi. The turnout is great and it’s been put together very well.”
