Le Dupleix, a luxury heritage hotel in Pondicherry, is unveiling a special menu called ‘Soirée Françoise’ from 17th to 21st March, 2016. Soirée Françoise is an authentic French four-course menu featuring French delicacies like Champignon Cappuccino and Classique soupe à l’oignon française for soup.
For entrées guests can pick from Ratatouille vol au vent, Moules cuits avec de l’ail, vin blanc et aux herbes or Gâteaux de crabe à la sauce rémoulade. The main course is a treat for every foodie and includes options like Épinards et ricotta cannelloni, Aubergine parmigiana, Sole meunière, Coq au vin, Jarrets d’ agneau braisé au vin rouge. To give the meal a right ending the chef will serve desserts like Mille feuille and Cannelle crème brûlée.
Le Dupleix is situated in the heart of the old Ville Blanche or white town of French Pondicherry. Constructed in the 18th century as the residence of the Mayor of Pondicherry, the building stands white and majestic on an important corner of the French town. It is located just a few blocks from the shimmering waters of Bay of Bengal and Pondicherry’s famous leafy park.
