Devansh Ashar, a 22 year old bartender from Le Royal Meridien, Mumbai has won the grand prize in the Taste of Discovery Coffee championship organized by Illy Cafe.
He was the only Indian to be selected for his recipe in the final six and went on to win the prize in Trieste, Italy this week.
Ashar was judged by a strict jury headed by Illy Cafe chairman, Andre Illy and master barista Fritz Storm.
His winning recipe, the Illy Café Mojito, will be featured in all Illy Café menus Worldwide.
