The Ashok Institute of Hospitality and Tourism Management (AIH&TM), run by India Tourism Development Corporation (ITDC) in New Delhi, has signed a strategic alliance agreement with the Indian Institute of Learning & Advanced Development (INLEAD), Gurgaon, last evening, to establish the Ashok Inlead School of Hospitality (AISH).
INLEAD has a newly-built, state-of-the-art facility spread over 65,000 square feet at one of the most strategic landmarks in Gurgaon. This training alliance will ensure that skill-based professional post graduate diploma programmes in the fields of facility management, event management and public relations, and hospitality operations management are introduced to students.
Kuldip Verma, senior vice president, (HRD) ITD, said: “AISH is poised to create a niche for itself by producing a gainfully employable pool of professionals for the above sectors, as well as the service industry in general.”
