Low-cost airline, SpiceJet has announced that it will be launching about 20 new flights on domestic route from March, 29, 2020.  In a bid to add newer cities and boost its regional connectivity, some services will be launched under the central government’s UDAN scheme.

The airline company is said to launch daily flight services to Patna from Amritsar, Varanasi and Guwahati. With the commencement of operations on these routes, the airline will have a lineup of 52 flights connecting 12 cities under the RCS scheme. It will also launch new services on Bengaluru-Jabalpur, Hyderabad-Mangalore and Mumbai- Aurangabad routes under the Regional Connectivity Scheme (RCS). According to SpiceJet, it will be rolling out a mix of Boeing 737-800 and Bombardier Q400 aircrafts on the given routes. Besides this, SpiceJet will also increase its services on the Mumbai-Bagdogra and Mumbai-Chennai routes by adding second and fifth flights respectively.
