Courtyard and Fairfield by Marriott (Bangalore, Outer Ring Road) in partnership with Cloudtap Bottling Company have launched their sensor based in house glass bottling solution in December 2019, making them the first hotel in the south to do so.
This revolutionary step puts Courtyard and Fairfield by Marriot on top of the list of early adopters of internet water technology in the country. This coupled with in house glass bottling, is a huge step in bringing the safest and most reliable drinking water to their guests, minus the environmentally harmful single use plastic bottles. Powered by Cloudtap’s extensive AI, IOT, and sensor based technology, Courtyard’s in house glass bottling ensures that the customer gets the best experience with real time information on the quality of water they are drinking. This move is estimated to eliminate the consumption of plastic bottles by a whopping 500,000 bottles per annum.
Sajid Sheikh, Director of Engineering, winner of Hotelier’s Chief Engineer of the Year Award 2019, along with his team spearheaded this project to deliver an impressive plant room in record time.
